Natalino dos Santos Nascimento (born June 13, 1969 in Dili , Portuguese Timor ), battle name 55 , is a politician from East Timor . He is a member of the Congresso Nacional da Reconstrução Timorense (CNRT) party.

In his youth, Santos joined the independence movement in Dili.

Santos holds degrees in Public Administration, Social Sciences, and Politics.

Since 2007 Nascimento has been a member of the National Parliament of East Timor . During the 2007–2012 legislative period, he served on the Commission on Constitutional Affairs, Justice, Public Administration, Local Jurisprudence and Government Legislation. From 2012 to 2017 Santos was parliamentary group leader of the CNRT and vice-president of the parliamentary commission on constitutional affairs, justice, public administration, local justice and anti-corruption. In the parliamentary elections in East Timor in 2017 , Nascimento ran for the CNRT in 8th place and thus moved back into the national parliament . He became a member of the Commission on Health, Education, Culture, Veterans and Gender Equality (Commission F). After the dissolution of parliament, Freitas took up position 50 in the new elections on May 12, 2018 of the Aliança para Mudança e Progresso (AMP), to which the CNRT also belonged, and narrowly failed. However, he replaced Albina Marçal Freitas, who died in December 2019 .

Santos has been awarded for 14 years of participation in the liberation struggle against Indonesia and has been wearing the Ordem Lorico Asuwain since 2007 .
