Nathan Davis (Africa explorer)

Nathan Davis (* 1812 ; † January 6, 1882 in Florence ) was an English explorer of Africa .

Davis was the editor of Hebrew-Christian Magazine for a long time and then took a position as a preacher in a dissenting church . The Count of Clarendon sent him to Tunisia to investigate ancient Carthage . For this he wrote two detailed descriptions.
