National Committee (1848)

The Committee of St. Wenceslas of 1848 (Czech: Svatováclavský výbor roku 1848 ) was a pro-Slav parliamentary assembly formed in the revolutionary year of 1848 in Prague , the capital of the then Habsburg Kingdom of Bohemia .

Surname

He was also known as Výbor pražského měšťanstva ("Prague Citizens Committee" or "Prague Citizens Comité"). The National Committee established on March 11, 1848 was renamed in April in Národní výbor (German: "National Committee").
