Dalian Nationality College
The Dalian Nationality University ( Chinese 大连 民族 学院 , Pinyin Dàlián Mínzú Xúeyuàn ) was founded in 1997. It is located in the Jinzhou District of Dalian City in northeast China 's Liaoning Province . Since 2006 it has been under the joint control of the State Ethnic Affairs Commission and the governments of Liaoning Province and Dalian City.
In 2011, the university had over 14,100 students (more than 60% of whom were ethnic minorities ) and 1,305 teachers, of which around 35% had a PhD . By 2011 there were 671 MA degrees and 98 doctoral degrees .
