State Commission on Ethnic Affairs
The State Ethnic Affairs Commission ( abbreviation :国家民族事务委员会, Pinyin : Guojia Minzu Shiwu Wěiyuánhuì) also known as SEAC (Engl. State Ethnic Affairs Commission ) is an agency of the State Council and executive body of the ethnic policy. This commission was established on October 22, 1949 and originally belonged to the central government.
