Chinese Seismology Office

The Chinese Seismology Office (China Earthquake Office; Chinese Seismology Bureau; State Earthquake Bureau, etc .; Chinese  中国 地震 局 , Pinyin Zhongguo dizhenju , English China Earthquake Administration ) is an authority of the People's Republic of China for nationwide earthquake prevention and control.

It emerges from the Seismological Working Committee of the Chinese Academy of Sciences ( 中国科学院 地震 工作 委员会 , Zhongguo kexueyuan dizhen gongzuo weiyuanhui ), which later became the State Bureau of Seismology ( 国家 地震 局 , Guojia dizhenju ).
