Siham Omer
Siham Omer Abd el Gadir (born September 27, 1968 in Wad Madani , Sudan ) is a Sudanese artist.
Becoming and working
1990–1994 Omer attended the Sudan University of Science and Technology (جامعة السودان للعلوم والتكنولوجي) in the College of Fine and Applied Arts . After leaving university, she made a name for herself through her numerous exhibitions on a national level ( Goethe-Institut , Khartoum ; National Museum of Sudan , Khartoum; Aljazeera University , Wad Madani ; Hilton Hotel , Khartoum) and also ventured a few times to nearby foreign countries ( Addis Ababa , Ethiopia and Dubai , United Arab Emirates ).
In 1997 she emigrated to Germany and today lives with her husband Salah Suleiman and their three children in Schopfheim . In 1998 one of her exhibitions took place there again, through which she sought to publicize Sudanese art in Germany.
