The National League B is the second highest division in Swiss women's football .

mode

Until the end of the 2017/2018 season, the league consisted of 12 teams. The two best fought with the last two of the National League A for promotion or relegation, the last two were relegated to the first division .

Since the 2018/2019 season, the new 10 teams have played against each other three times. The team that has the most points at the end of the season is promoted to the NLA. The two teams with the fewest points are relegated to the first division.

Current development

The reduction of the league from 12 to 10 teams resulted in 4 instead of 2 relegated teams in the 2017/2018 season. The clubs FC Aïre-le-Lignon , FC Amriswil , FC Kloten and FC Walperswil were relegated. The championship winner, Servette FC Chênois Féminin , rose to the highest league. The remaining 7 teams were relegated from the highest league, FC Aarau Women and the two promoted teams from the first division, FC Küssnacht a / R and FC Rapperswil-Jona .
