National Opera Bergen
The Bergen National Opera (Norwegian: Bergen Nasjonale Opera ) is an institution in Bergen , Norway , where musical theater is performed.
history
Originally the company was founded under the name Den Nye Opera (the new opera). It is a foundation that was established in 2005 by the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra , the National Stage , the Grieg Hall and the Bergen International Festival. In 2007 Opera Vest became part of the foundation with the aim of creating a regional opera for western Norway.
