The Bajanaul National Park is a national park in northeast Kazakhstan in the Pavlodar District .

The surrounding landscape is characterized by wide steppe . The small mountains form a coniferous forest oasis in the middle of the relatively poor landscape. Protected by bizarre rock formations, three picturesque lakes lie in the interior of the mountains. This unique landscape is protected as a nature park. There are signs on site that indicate support from UNESCO , but the park is not yet included in the World Heritage List as a natural monument .

The Bajanaul Nature Park is a popular place for excursions in the summer months (especially for short vacationers from Pavlodar , Ekibastus and Karagandy ). Increasing tourism, however, is seriously interfering with the idyll with the construction of holiday homes and excursion restaurants, as well as careless forest fires.

Within Kazakhstan, Bajanaul competes with Borovoye (northwest of the new capital Nur-Sultan (Astana until 2019) ) for the rank of the most beautiful holiday area.
