Nattenhausen

Nattenhausen is a district of the Breitenthal community in the Swabian district of Günzburg ( Bavaria ). On May 1, 1978, the previously independent community of Nattenhausen was incorporated into Breitenthal.

The parish village can be reached via the state road St 2018 . The place is divided into an upper village and a lower village.

history

Nattenhausen is mentioned for the first time in 1160 when a Ludwig von Nattenhausen, a Welf ministerial , signed as a witness in a purchase contract in the Roggenburg monastery . The place came to this monastery in 1266. Only six farms are said to have belonged to the Roggenburg monastery, different landlords are named for the other farms . In 1377, Bishop Burkhard von Ellerbach gave Nattenhausen a fief to members of his family. In 1474 the Klosterbeuren monastery was named as the landlord of Nattenhausen.
