Nature Communications is a peer-reviewed scientific Open Access - professional journal , by the since 2010 Nature Publishing Group is published.

The journal operates independently of its sister journal Nature and publishes papers on all scientific topics, especially the natural sciences . The main topics include v. a. the biology , the physics , the chemistry and the earth sciences .
