The Naziresha Mosque ( Albanian  Xhamia e Nazireshës ) is a mosque in the city of Elbasan and is one of the national cultural monuments of Albania . It is located on the southern outskirts of Elbasan, directly on the bypass road and the railway .

The mosque was built in 1599 or a little earlier at the instigation of a Nazir , a religious official, or a daughter Nazir of such. The small building measures 10.7 meters square, the interior is 8.7 meters. Above it rises the octagonal dome covered with tiles. The original vestibule was made of wood. The minaret rises to the northwest . It had a richly furnished balcony, the top was missing. The interior decoration was destroyed by soot and dust when garbage was burned inside.

In 1948 the mosque was declared a cultural monument. Restoration work was also carried out during the communist dictatorship - probably in the 1980s. In 2006 the mosque was renovated again. In 2013 it was extensively restored with the support of the Turkish government. The reconstruction greatly changed the appearance of the mosque; the traditional Albanian-Islamic tiled roof was replaced by a lead dome and the windows were closed with white bars.
