Nazzareno Mandolesi

Nazzareno Mandolesi (born August 31, 1944 ) is an Italian astrophysicist.

Mandolesi received his Laureate degree from the University of Bologna in 1969 . He was a professor at the University of Ferrara and research director at the Istituto Nazionale di Astrofisica (INAF).

Mandolesi was a senior scientist at the Planck Space Telescope .

In 2014 he received the Amaldi Medal and in 2015 the Edison Volta Prize . In 2018 he received the Gruber Prize for Cosmology with Jean-Loup Puget and the Planck team .
