The Organpipe Nunatak (English for organ pipe nunatak ) is an approximately 150 m high nunatak on the West Antarctic James Ross Island . It rises from the previously unnamed glacier that flows west to Holluschickie Bay .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee gave it its descriptive name in 1998. The column-like structures in the dolerite rock of the nunatak, which are reminiscent of organ pipes , give it its name.
