description

Landhaus Heinrich-Zille-Straße 61: western outbuilding

The two-storey villa of " spätbiedermeierlichem character" stands today along with western outbuildings and gate entry under monument protection .

The plastered building with a gable roof , which is five to two window axes, has a flat, three-storey central projection with a flat gable in the southern main view . The risalit consists of four sandstone half-columns with a wide flight of stairs on the ground floor. The ground floor has been heavily modified structurally, the plaster structure is weathered.

A single-storey outbuilding facing the street also has a gable roof, but at the front with a crooked hip . In the enclosure there is a representative later gate grille between mighty sandstone pillars, which still indicate the originally lower entrance level, which is now bridged by several steps from the sidewalk.

The “very friendly garden property of General v. Süßmilch ”was built around 1850 and in 1862 its owner Süßmilch called Hörnig, who“ was here with a house and vineyard property ”,“ translated ”, that is, increased it.

Around 1857 there was also an outbuilding on the eastern side of the property from the street, giving the impression of a symmetrical three-sided layout. The entire complex was probably surrounded by a fence, which in turn was accompanied by trees.
