Nederlandse Wereldwijde students

The Nederlandse Wereldwijde Studenten (in German: Dutch Students Worldwide ), abbreviated NWS, is a Dutch student organization . NWS forms a worldwide network for all Dutch students who are past, present or future enrolled at a university or college abroad. It provides a forum for joint activities and is designed to work with the government , private sector and society in the Netherlands.

NWS clubs make up a large part of the NWS network. They organize local activities, borrels and Dutch gezelligheid at universities outside the Netherlands. NWS Clubs are active at Harvard , Caltech , Cornell , New York University , Paris , Oxford , Cambridge , LSE in London , the European University Institute in Florence , and the College of Europe in Bruges , among others .

In addition, NWS maintains a database on the Internet with the details of all Dutch students who are currently or previously enrolled at a foreign university. This network offers its participants access to on-site contacts, information and information on courses and countries in order to support and facilitate studying abroad or returning to the Netherlands.

NWS was founded in 2007 by and for students and is run exclusively by volunteers. It receives support from Nuffic , DUO and several Dutch multinational companies. NWS 'founding partner is ABN AMRO .
