Neferetiabet (Neferet iabet)

Neferetiabet was a princess of the ancient Egyptian 4th Dynasty . Her exact classification is not entirely certain, but she was probably a daughter of Pharaoh Cheops .

Sacrificial tablet from the tomb of Neferetiabet

Neferetiabet owns the mastaba G 1225 on the western burial ground of the Great Pyramid of Cheops . A very well-preserved grave slab with an offering table scene was found there, which is now in the Louvre . Some statuettes from the 6th Dynasty are also said to come from here, but it is more likely that they come from a small tomb near this mastaba.
