Negovec is a village with 198 inhabitants (2001) west of Vrbovec (Croatia) .
history
In 1517 Negovec belonged to the feudal estate of Katica Pučić, before it passed into the possession of Petar Erdody from 1588 to 1600 . In 1755 Negovec was destroyed in a peasant uprising. In 1802 the Erdodys founded a Kurije. In 1904 the property was parceled out and new residents moved in.
