Neha Ahuja (born September 27, 1981 ) is a former Indian ski racer . In 2006 she became the first Indian woman to qualify for the Winter Olympics.

Ahuja was born the daughter of an Indian border officer and grew up near Kasmir . There, below the Himalayas , her father worked as a director in a winter sports resort. As a five year old she made her first attempts on skis. At the age of 16, she moved to Vail, USA, where she joined the local ski club. During her studies at the University of Colorado , she stuck to ski racing and then continued training in Japan and Austria. Through various FIS races , in which she had participated regularly since 1997, she finally qualified for the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin .

There she competed in slalom and giant slalom . In the slalom, she came in 51st and last place, 27 seconds behind from two runs on the winner Anja Pärson . Two days later she came 42nd in the giant slalom, just under eight seconds ahead of last-placed Mirella Arnhold from Brazil.
