Neil Bernard McAdam (born July 30, 1957 in East Kilbride ) is a former Scottish football player . The goalkeeper completed two games for Port Vale in the Football League Fourth Division in the 1982/83 season .

Career

McAdam joined Port Vale in the Football League Fourth Division in August 1982 from Northwich Victoria from the Alliance Premier League . There he made his Football League debut on December 28, 1982 in a 1-0 win over Torquay United . Behind regular goalkeeper Barry Siddall and Neville Southall , who was loaned from first division club Everton in January and February 1983 , McAdam only played one more game until the end of the season. After the rise of Port Vale to the Third Division , McAdam received the clearance in May 1983 and continued his career in non-league football in the Northern Premier League at the Welsh clubs Oswestry Town and Caernarfon Town .
