description

The building is located in the middle of the Neilshill Park holiday complex about one kilometer north of Mossblown . The two-story villa, built around 1880, is designed in the Italianate style with embossed red ashlar stones. On the west side, a part of the building with a rectangular floor plan, which is supposed to symbolize a campanile , towers over the rest of the building by one floor. The north wing, added around 1930, is stylistically adapted to the original building. Pilasters flank the slightly recessed entrance area on the east side. It is designed in the Moorish style with a high arch, with which the window openings close. The slate-covered hip roofs differ in terms of the eaves height and reinforce the asymmetry of the villa.

The interior has largely been preserved in its original state. He adopts the Moorish style with elaborate ceiling decorations, floor mosaics, columns and an ornamental fountain. Some windows are made with lead glass .
