Nele Hackländer

Cornelia "Nele" Hackländer (* 1963 in Stuttgart ) is a German classical archaeologist and science manager .

Life

From 1983 to 1990 Cornelia Hackländer studied classical archeology, history and Italian at the universities of Heidelberg, Berlin and Rome. In 1990 she earned a Master of Arts, 1993, she was at the University of Berlin to Dr. phil. PhD. From 1994 to 1997 she was a research assistant at the Antikensammlung Berlin for a research project on bronze casting techniques in antiquity and for various exhibition projects. Since 1997 she worked at the IHK Berlin (1997 to 2000 as managing director of the Wirtschaftsjunioren Berlin , 2001 to 2004 in the controlling department of the IHK). After moving to Basel , she was administrative director at the Protestant University of Applied Sciences Freiburg from 2005–2006 , from 2006 to 2010 Head of Services at the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland in Basel and research assistant at the Institute for Nonprofit and Public Management . Since May 1, 2010 she has been heading the Student Services at the University of Basel .
