Nemesius
Nemesius ( ancient Greek Νεμέσιος Nemésios , Latinized Nemesius ) was the name of several ancient Christian personalities:
- Nemesios of Emesa (late 4th century), philosopher and bishop of Emesa in Syria
- Nemesius of Alexandria (around 250 AD), martyr under Emperor Decius (festival on December 19)
- Nemesius of Rome (after 250 AD), martyr in Rome, tomb on the Via Latina .
- Nemesius of Tivoli († around 120 AD), from Tivoli , according to legend, a son of Symphorosa
