The Frederic Esser Nemmers Prize for Mathematics is a biennial award given by the private Northwestern University in Evanston (Illinois) for work of "lasting outstanding importance" in the field of mathematics.

Together with the other Nemmers prizes , it was donated by the brothers Erwin E. and Frederic E. Nemmers and endowed with endowment assets of US $ 14 million. The greater part of the income is intended to increase the foundation's assets in order to be able to award prizes in other specialist areas in the future.

In 2006, the prizes awarded were endowed with US $ 150,000, making the Nemmers Prize for Mathematics the most highly endowed mathematics prize in the USA.
