Neolith is a Polish black and death metal band that was formed in 1991. The band originally came from Sanok , but has now moved to Krosno .

history

The band was formed in 1991. A first demo called Death Comes Slow followed in 1993, followed by the Journeys Inside the Maze of Time demo in 1995 and a promo demo in 1996. The band then signed a contract with Ceremony Records , which was released in 1996, Trips Through Time and Loneliness , which was a compilation of the last two demos. After the band switched to Dogma Records , the debut album Igne Natura Renovabitur Integra was released in 1998 . In 2002, the next demo followed with Thorn In the Side of my Enemies . In the same year Krzysztof "Kriss" Szantula came to the band as the new drummer, so that he replaced the previous drummer Yashin. In addition, Jerzy “U. Reck “Głód as keyboard player for the cast. Both Szantula and Głód had previously worked at Lux Occulta . In 2004 the next album Immortal followed through The Flaming Arts Records , on which the band insisted next to Szantula and Głód from the bassist Paweł, the singer Grzegorz "Levi" Łukowski and the guitarist Artur "Jimmi" Tabisz. The 2010 Wydawnictwo Muzyczne Psycho album Individual Infernal Idimmu was dedicated to the drummer Tomasz "Fil" Górawski, although he could still be heard on the album. The guitarists Tabisz and Konrad “Conrad” Białas, the bassist Łukasz “Luke” Forystek and singer Łukowski could be heard as further members.

style

According to Devil Man from schwermetall.ch , the band on Individual Infernal Idimmu have now completely broken away from Doom Metal and play Death Metal with slight Black Metal influences. Lyrically, the band mainly deals with occult topics.
