history
The association was founded in 1909. It emerged from an older gymnastics club and the then new football department. Until 1956, the club played in the district class except for one season. Then the promotion to the state league succeeded for the first time, until the mid-1960s one commuted between state and district class. In 1965 the greatest success was the only promotion to the association league , which one had to leave after one season. It started a crash with two more descents up to the 1st district class. Until 1980 the club commuted between the district league and the district league. After twelve years in the district league, in 1992 they were finally promoted back to the regional league. After another relegation, the club played from 1995 to 13 years in the national league. After two years in the regional league, they have been back in the Mittelrhein regional league since 2010 . 2014 the renewed descent of TuS Rheinland in the district league after the death of the longstanding main sponsor.
Stadion
The club plays its home games in the Rheinlandkampfbahn , which has a capacity of around 2,000 spectators. The stadium has no seats. The club also has an ash place available. The stadium was last renovated in 2014. The old sports fields were the predecessors of the Rheinlandkampfbahn in the area of the train station (today industrial area) and another place at the Kreissparkasse. In Dremmen there is still a football field on the Waidberg.
