Small Planet Airlines was an Italian subsidiary of the Lithuanian charter airline of the same name, Small Planet Airlines . In April 2013 it was sold to Aeroservizi and the Avia Solution Group.
On January 19, 2014, by decree of the Ente Nazionale per l'Aviazione Civile , she had to cease flight operations for financial reasons. Most recently she flew mainly on behalf of Alitalia and Flyplanet.
fleet
The fleet last consisted of two Boeing 737-300s with the registration numbers LY-FLC and LY-FLE , which were leased from the (former) Lithuanian parent company . To distinguish it, the Italian flag was below the lettering. In the summer of 2013, a McDonnell Douglas MD-83 of the Greek SkyWings Airlines was also used.
