history

Livingston Compagnia Aerea was launched in early 2012 as the successor to Livingston Energy Flight , which had its operating license revoked. In addition to the name, it also adopted some of its predecessor's routes in the European and Mediterranean regions. In the 2012/2013 winter season, the first long-haul flights were again offered with an Airbus A330 operated by HiFly .

On July 15, 2014, the company was supposed to cease operations after the Italian aviation authority refused to extend its operating license due to non-compliance with conditions. However, this decision was reversed a few days later and the company initially continued to operate.

However, on October 6, 2014 Livingston ceased operations without prior notice, and one day later the Italian supervisory authorities revoked her operating license. The reasons given were the economic situation and a decline in orders.

Destinations

Livingston Compagnia Aerea recently flew from several Italian cities mainly to holiday destinations in the Mediterranean region such as Málaga , Djerba , Tenerife , Marsa Alam , Antalya and Tel Aviv . The only long-haul destination was Cancún in Mexico in the 2012/2013 winter season.
