Livingston Energy Flight was an Italian airline based in Milan and based at Milan Malpensa Airport .

history

The airline was founded on January 13, 2003 and started flight operations in May 2003. The forerunner is Lauda Air Italia , founded in 1990 , whose owner Volante was controlled by Niki Lauda . The majority share of Volante belonged in turn to the Ventaglio group . On March 31, 2003, the Gruppo Ventaglio took over the shares of Volante and merged Lauda Air Italia and Livingston under the name Livingston Aviation Group . Most recently, the Viaggi del Ventaglio Group was the sole owner of the airline.

On October 8, 2010, Livingston Energy Flight announced that the Italian civil aviation authority ENAC had revoked the company's operating license as of October 14, 2010 at midnight.

In 2012, the successor company Livingston Compagnia Aerea started flight operations and took over some of its predecessor's routes.
