Neonsplash - Paint-Party is a tour event that has been holding concerts in Europe since 2011. These are parties with electronic dance music using fluorescent paint.

Story and concept

The series of events was founded in 2011 by Florian Eckelmann, Siamak Ghofrani, Matthew Mockridge and David Zimek (company headquarters in Cologne). The target group of the events are people between the ages of 18 and 25. In addition to DJs from the electronic and house scene such as B. Martin Garrix , DVBBS , Oliver Heldens , Don Diablo , Thomas Gold or Sidney Samson , performance artists and acrobats. In addition, special effects such as lasers, CO 2 , pyrotechnics and confetti are used. The event guests are dressed in white. A countdown is displayed on the stage which, when the time expires, enables the use of the fluorescent wet paint. Both color cannons are used, which are placed in the arenas, and bottles filled with color, which are distributed to the guests. The fluorescent paint used is water-based, non-toxic and washable. A new element can be found in the current tour (Utopia 3D), in which 3D glasses are distributed to the guests, because elements of the stage show are implemented with 3D image effects. Since 2014, Neonsplash Paint-Party has been guesting over 16 shows as a summer residency in Ibiza, making it the first event concept that has made it to the island as a recurring event in the third year after it was founded.

The events have been held at 60 locations in Germany, Holland, Switzerland, Spain and Belgium since 2011. In 2014, up to 10 other countries will be added, which will be produced as part of a separate summer tour, among other things. The events are divided into tour blocks, each of which is based on specially designed show sequences, titles and stories. The first tour in 2011/12 was entitled "Love Thru Paint" and in the following year 2013 "Color is Creation". The 2014 tour was titled "Utopia 3D" and was characterized by the presentation of the show visuals in 3D. In 2012 and 13, events related to the topic “Blood Massacre” took place on Halloween (using only red color).

In 2015 the event concept was sold to the Belgian organizer ST Live. To date, more than 1 million tickets have been held over 250 events in 16 countries.
