Nesholmen ( roughly translated from Norwegian headland island ) is a small island off the Prince Harald coast of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It is located 0.8 km from Djupvikneset in the southern part of Lützow-Holm Bay .
Norwegian cartographers, who also used the naming based on the naming of Djupvikneset, mapped the island based on aerial photos from the Lars Christensen expedition in 1936/37 .
