The Nesselsdorf J 30 was the successor to the D and F passenger cars that the Nesselsdorfer Wagenbau-Fabriks-Gesellschaft launched in 1906.

The vehicle had a side-controlled four-cylinder in-line engine with T-cylinder heads. It had a capacity of 5878 cc, 30–35 hp (22–26 kW) and was installed for the first time under the bonnet at the front. This completely new engine had been developed by Kronfeld and still had a magneto ignition . The maximum achievable speed of the 1500 kg car was 80 km / h. There were four- and six-seat tonneau bodies .

In 1907 the Nesselsdorf J 40 was built with the same technology, but with a 40 hp (29 kW) engine. This was produced until 1908. The Belgian royal family also received a copy.

In 1910 another car appeared with the same type designation, but an engine with 7440 cc and 45 hp (33 kW) power. Landau and limousines were particularly popular as bodies . The model was finally discontinued in 1911.
