The Netcloud AG is a Swiss IT company headquartered in Winterthur and locations in Bern and Basel .
history
In 1998, today's CEO Marc Schürch founded Netcloud AG together with his business partner Georg Diener. With the growth, the location was opened in Bern in 2006 and in Basel in 2007.
At the beginning of 2015, co-founder Georg Diener left the company and handed over his role as Chief Managed Services Officer to Alain Kistler.
In 2016, Cisco recognized Netcloud AG as the best data center partner worldwide.
In 2017 Netcloud AG took over uniQconsulting AG with headquarters in Bassersdorf .
Field of activity
Netcloud AG works primarily with the manufacturers Cisco , NetApp and VMware . The network area includes LAN and WLAN. Netcloud AG also plans, builds and virtualizes data centers and storage and secures their data by means of backup and disaster recovery . Unified Communication includes the infrastructure for communication within a company such as desktop and IP telephony , video conferences and collaboration tools. The area of information security consists of security in the network using firewalls, VPN encryption and identity management as well as monitoring or cyber defense to identify and combat threats such as phishing and crypto mining . Cloud is divided into private cloud, i.e. the virtualized data center, hybrid cloud and cloud services such as platform and infrastructure as a service . Netcloud AG's services are managed services and maintenance for entire IT infrastructures or parts of them.
Other technological partners include Rapid7, F5 Networks, AWS , Microsoft Azure , Redhat and Veeam .
