Church building

The wave shape of the church symbolizes the hilly landscape of the Upper Palatinate. The hall church has seats for 600 visitors. The round arch construction of the nave is a symbol of solidarity. It can be divided in the middle so that the separated space can be used for other purposes.

The figures already show that this is not an ordinary church structure: 2,700 cubic meters of concrete and 300 tons of steel were used for the concrete structure, 8 km of pipes and 20,500 anchors for the underfloor heating, plus 1000 meters of sewage pipes and around 500 meters of fresh water pipes, 350 Lighting fixtures and 680 meters of LED light strips. 6 km outside, 100 km inside and a further 8 km of multimedia cables were installed on electrical cables. 470 sprinklers, 200 smoke alarms and a fire smoke ventilation system were installed for building security. The gas-fired cogeneration plant with 170 kilowatts ensures that the complex is heated.

The cross can be moved and changed. It can be pushed behind a wooden wall behind the altar and is therefore invisible. A large baptismal font has been set up for the Baptists to allow them to immerse themselves in the act of baptism. The pews with space on the back for the prayer books are made of oak and the knee benches can be lowered into the front benches like drawers. In addition to a lighting system that can be controlled by the building management system, the building is equipped with modern technology such as projectors, cameras and screens in order to organize the services individually.
