Netlist

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In the field of electronics design ( ECAD or CAD design of printed circuit boards , see PCB layout and multi-chip modules / MCM), net lists are a textual description of the electrical connections ( circuit diagram ) between components.

In the IC design ( circuit design ) is the description of the connections between the modules contained on the chip, such as logic gates or memory blocks .

The usual textual file format for electronic net lists is the so-called Electronic Design Interchange Format (EDIF).
