description

The Neudorfer Small Pond 1 was built around 1860 as the second pre-barrier of the Art Pond Neudorf, in addition to the Neudorfer Small Pond 2 . The pond was used as an artificial pond until 1902.

A tributary of a tributary of the narrow Wipper is dammed here. This is first dammed in the Neudorf community pond. Via this, the Neudorf artificial pond was connected to the Neudorfer Graben , part of the Silberhütte artificial grave . The Neudorf small pond 1 drains directly into the artificial pond Neudorf. The pond is now heavily silted up.
