Neudriewitz

Neudriewitz , in Upper Sorbian Borduc , was a small settlement that existed from 1831 to 1900 in the middle of the extensive forest area of ​​the Driewitz-Milkeler Heiden in the area of ​​today's municipality of Lohsa in the district of Bautzen , south of the town of Driewitz . It was located directly north of the border with Saxony on Prussian territory. The settlement was abandoned around 1900 for economic reasons. It consisted of a farm and five housekeeping. The residents have moved to the surrounding areas. Remnants of the settlement can still be seen today.
