The New Hampshire Northcoast (NHN) is a local US railroad company in the states of New Hampshire and Maine . The company is based in Ossipee, New Hampshire . The former 66 km long route of the Boston and Maine Railroad between Ossipee and Rollinsford (New Hampshire) (Conway Branch) is operated with the two locomotives of the types EMD GP 9R and GP 38-2 . The transfer point with Pan Am Railways is Dover (New Hampshire) .

In August 1985, the Boston & Maine stopped traffic due to the poor quality of the route. The quarry company Boston Sand & Gravel Co. was dependent on the route to remove sand and gravel from the pit near Ossipee. For this reason, she founded the New Hampshire Northcoast Co. and began operations on May 27, 1986. In 1997 ownership of the line passed to the NHN. In the years 1994 to 1998, the line was restored to good condition with support from government funds. In addition, a workshop building was built in Ossipee.

The most important cargo is sand, gravel and crushed stone in block trains, especially to Boston . The annual transport volume in 1996 was 7,000 truckloads.
