Breakthrough Prize in Mathematics
The Breakthrough Prize in Mathematics is a mathematics prize awarded since 2014. He is the third of a series of highly doped science prizes ( breakthrough prize in life sciences , fundamental physics prize ) of the under Mark Zuckerberg and Yuri Milner resulting Breakthrough Prize Foundation . The award is endowed with 3 million US dollars for each winner. While five winners were awarded in the first year, one winner will be named annually from 2015.
Since the second award, the New Horizons in Mathematics Prize has also been awarded to young scientists, each endowed with $ 100,000.
