Ng Eng Hen
Ng Eng Hen (born December 10, 1958 ) is a Singaporean doctor and politician of the People's Action Party .
Life
From 2004 to 2008, Ng was the Labor Minister of Singapore , replacing Lee Boon Yang . From 2008 to 2011, Ng was Minister of Education of Singapore, succeeding Tharman Shanmugaratnam . Since May 2011, Ng has succeeded Teo Chee Hean as Minister of Defense of Singapore . Ng is married to Ivy Lim Swee Lian and has four children.
