Ngari Penchen Pema Wanggyel ( Tib. Mnga 'ris paN chen Padma dbang rgyal ; * 1487; † around 1542) a notable scholar, an ascetic and yoga master and was Tertön the Nyingma -School of Tibetan Buddhism. He is one of the previous incarnations of Jigme Lingpa .

His treatise Determination of the Three Vow Categories or Explanation of the Three Vows (Tib. སྡོམ་ གསུམ་ རྣམ་ ངེས་, Wyl. Sdom gsum rnam nges) on the three vow categories ( sdom gsum ) Prātimoksa , Bodhisattva and Vidyādhara from a Dzogchen - is valued . Perspective.

His reincarnation was Changdag Trashi Tobgyel ( byang bdag bkra shis stobs rgyal ).

“This Ngari Panchen is the older brother of the first incarnation of Rigdzin Godem, Legdan Dudjom Dorje, …… .mNga ris panchen Padma dbang rgyal (1487–1543) an outstanding scholar and adept of the Byangter lineage, he built around his hermit cave in the mountains around a temporary monastery, to which he gave the name Evam lcog sgar.
