Ngau is a small uninhabited island in the Tongan archipelago of Vavaʻu .
geography
Ngau is a motu in the reef of Taunga and is located just off the southern tip of Taunga. Nearby are the islands of Tauta and Lekeleka . To the east lies a few kilometers away Fonuaunga and southwest 'Eueiki .
climate
The climate is tropical hot, but is tempered by constantly blowing winds. Like the other islands of the Vavaʻu group, Ngau is occasionally hit by cyclones .
