Ta'uta is a small uninhabited island in the Tongan archipelago of Vava'u .
geography
Ta'uta is a motu in the reef of Taunga and is located east of Taunga together with Lekeleka (S) and Ngau . Fonuaunga is a few kilometers to the east . The closest island to the north is Lautala .
climate
The climate is tropical hot, but is tempered by constantly blowing winds. Like the other islands of the Vavaʻu group, Taʻuta is occasionally afflicted by cyclones .
