Nge (Sindhi letter)

Nge ( Sindhi :ڱي ngē or ŋē ;ڱ) is the 42nd letter of the Sindhi extended Arabic alphabet . Nge consists of a Persian gaf (گ) with two diacritical points placed next to each other above the symbol.

In the Arabic script of Sindhi Nge represents the voiced velar nasal [⁠ ŋ ⁠] . In the Sindhi Devanagari, the equivalent of Nge is the character , in Latin transcriptions Nge is represented either as ng , , ŋ or . In an earlier variant of the Arabic alphabet of Sindhi, the digraph was used instead of the ngeنک in use.
