Nguyễn Tiến Trọng (born March 9, 1997 ) is a Vietnamese long jumper .

Athletic career

Nguyễn Tiến Trọng gained his first international experience in 2017 when he finished fifth at the Southeast Asian Games in Kuala Lumpur with 7.53 m. He then won the Asian Indoor & Martial Arts Games in Ashgabat with a new indoor record of 7.48 m. In the following year he reached the final of the Asian Indoor Championships in Tehran with another national record of 7.50 m, but did not start there. In 2019 he finished fifth at the Military World Games in Wuhan with 7.78 m and was then at the Southeast Asian Games in Capas fourth with a jump to 7.67 m.

In 2017 and 2019, Nguyễn became Vietnamese champion in the long jump.
