The Niagara Icefalls are large glacier breaks between the Evans Firnfield and the head end of the Mariner Glacier in East Antarctica, Victoria Land . They are located southeast of the volcanic group The Pleiades .
Scientists from the German expedition GANOVEX III (1982–1983) named it after Niagara Falls .
