The Nibelungen Valley is an ice-free valley in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It is west of the Plane Table and Panorama Peak in the Asgard Range .
The New Zealand Antarctic Place-Names Committee named the valley after the legendary people from the Nibelungen saga .
