Niccolò Rinaldi (born December 3, 1962 in Florence ) is an Italian politician of the Italia dei Valori party .

In 2009 he was elected to the European Parliament as an independent candidate for the Italia dei Valoriè list. He is a member of ALDE , where he held the post of Assistant Secretary General until the end of 2000. He currently serves as its vice-president. He is the leader of the IdV delegation in the European Parliament.

Rinaldi has written a number of books on current political problems in Europe, particularly Italy, as well as the Middle East, Afghanistan and Africa, some of which have been translated into English, French and Spanish.
