The Nichinan Kaigan Quasi National Park ( Japanese 日南海岸国定公園 , Nichinan kaigan kokutei kōen ) is one of over 50 quasi national parks in Japan. The prefectures of Miyazaki and Kagoshima are responsible for the administration of the 45 km² large park. The park area covers an area of approx. 270 km². With the IUCN Category V, the park area is classified as a Protected Landscape / Protected Marine Area .
